PETITION IN SUPPORT OF THE NO CONFIDENCE VOTE AGAINST THE CHIEF OF LIARD FIRST NATION

We, the undersigned members of the Liard First Nation, submit this petition to formally express our loss of confidence in the leadership of the currently elected Chief. As members of LFN, we have a responsibility to ensure that the values, interests, and well-being of our Nation are upheld. Over time, it has become evident that the currently elected Chief’s leadership no longer aligns with these priorities and is unfit to hold office.

12/14/2024 Update: After speaking with COTW and legal counsel, we’ve had to make changes to our petition. Due to the financial situation of LFN, a full election is not feasible at this time. Therefore, the petition is now in support of no confidence in the currently elected chief.

This requires a new signature if you’ve already signed the first version.

We are offering this form for members outside of Yukon and Lower Post. We will be collecting signatures in person in Whitehorse, Upper Liard, Watson Lake, 2-Mile & Lower Post.
